Re-Tartuffe as per Helen Williams

Commenting of Matthew's post, I candidly agree that the play appear more investigative than being a comedy. I will likely compare  him to most of our modern day preachers whose scandals are always on the screen of our televisions at news time. They preach holiness and practice otherwise. I strongly believe that everyman will reap the fruit of their labour, just like Tartuffe.

  1. I would like to comment on Matthew's post on Tartuffe as well. I was unable to do so by clicking on his comments or title of his blog. I like the comparison of Tartuffe to Bill Clinton. Very insightful. In the end Tartuffe got what he had coming. The play was confusing with all the characters and I too had to continually refer to the list of characters to see who belonged to who.
